fees and appointments
My private counselling practice is based at 10 Genotin Terrace, Enfield, EN1 2AF
(see the map here).
The property is within walking distance of Enfield Town Station (2 minutes) and Enfield Chase Station (8 minutes).
All rooms are spacious and comfortable, with one available on the ground floor if required for accessibility. Parking is available nearby in the Palace Gardens Shopping Centre.
I offer confidential one-to-one counselling, either short term, long term or open ended, and I have a wide range of experience working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, addiction, anger management, trauma, disordered eating, sexual and domestic abuse.
I have previously worked with Place2Be, providing emotional and therapeutic support to primary school children, within the NHS providing short-term counselling, and in a centre for addiction. Before my current role at LSE, I ran the counselling service in a secondary school for 5 years. I currently work at LSE as a student counsellor, co-ordinating the peer support scheme, as well as supervising counsellors within another organisation.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and take place at the same time each week, at a mutually convenient time agreed with the client. The purpose of the first meeting is to assess whether counselling is appropriate to your needs, and allows us both to discuss and consider the issues involved – this initial assessment session carries no further obligation. Fees are agreed during the first session and are usually reviewed annually. Clients can expect to pay £65-75 for a daytime session.
All information shared with me by clients is treated as confidential, and is never disclosed to a third party without their knowledge. However, if I am concerned that the client or another person is at risk of serious harm then I am bound by the BACP’s Ethical Framework to disclose this.
If you would like to arrange a time to attend an initial assessment, then please use the form on the contact me page.
