Crete Retreat

A 4 night stay on Crete, to breathe, refresh and rejuvenate

Come and join us on Crete for a half-week retreat to refresh your mind, body and spirit. We will work as a small group of 6-10 people to explore the ways in which we relate to others and ourselves.

4 hours of group work each day will include conscious connected breathwork, meditation and sound healing, musculoskeletal bodywork, connecting with nature, and verbal and non-verbal group sharing.

You may be in need of a re-energising pause from your daily life, be working through grief or trauma, or wishing to shine a light on the roles you take in groups; be that at work, with friends or in your family.

We will share a homely living space, eat together for 2 meals a day and you will have free time to explore the local area, beaches and history, or laze by the pool.

The cost of the retreat is £650 per person. This cost is reduced to £450-500 if you are sharing a room. We welcome couples or groups of friends as long as the dynamics are stable.  If you are interested to join us on this journey, please fill in the application form here, and we will respond to you within 3 days.

Your hosts and facilitators will be Susie Ward, AdvDipCouns (Snr Accred) and Gilly Arbuckle B.Ost.

Susie is a relational talking therapist and counsellor with a passion for groupwork. She has been training in breathwork and sound healing over the last 2 years.

Having run a university peer support scheme for 6 years, she is now holding spaces where people can explore how they relate to others in all areas of their lives, and how best to support themselves (before supporting others). By sharing a living space we can see the different ways we show up for others and ourselves, and using different meditation and healing techniques we can allow ourselves to be held in that space.

The programme for the retreat will include elements of meditation, breathwork, bodywork and experiential sharing, and will be tailored to suit the needs of the group. Please share openly on your application form about your needs, desires and expectations of the retreat.

Gilly enjoys working with people and is motivated to inspire others to achieve their goals and dreams. Discovering his connection with others through a spiritual practice, he realised he had skills to help them make a change.
Working as an Osteopath since 2008 Gilly uses a holistic approach to consider all areas of lifestyle, work, responsibilities and physical health. Treatment is only part of the solution, far more is gained from the insight an Osteopath can give about your body and what you can do to help.
It begins and ends with us. On the retreat we will be exploring what we need for physical wellbeing and longevity. Accessible guided sessions will focus on areas of the body that need attention;

  • areas that feel tight or stiff and need movement or release

  • areas of weakness that do not support the body and lead to pain.

Daily sessions will give the experience your body needs to change and heal, most importantly it will give awareness, without which nothing can change.
